All tackle football coaches within our organization must complete a Background Check and the NAYS Youth Tackle Course.

1) We have partnered with Sports Illustrated Play for the screening process and this is done through our online registration program.  To complete the background check just log back into your family account via the above link and add the adult that will be coaching.  Click the "coach background check” to begin the process.   There is a $22.00 fee for this process.  We will get notice that you have completed the process and we will contact you if there are any questions.  The background check is valid for 1 (one) full calendar year.

2) All tackle football coaches must be certified with USA or NAYS Football.  All coaches must complete the Youth Tackle course and print the certification of completion.  Please turn that certificate into the your prospective Athletic Director.  When looking for our league under "organization info" search by zip code (37130) or name (Murfreesboro Junior Patriots, Murfreesboro, TN)

3) A signed coaches code of conduct form is required to be on file with our organization and TYSA.  We will provide that form to head coaches to distribute to his coaching staff once teams are finalized.
